Patintero Comics by Kai Castillo

Patintero Comics by Kai Castillo has definitely put a smile on my face. It is such a heart-warming feeling to see my most-loved street game be given this tribute and much appreciation.

I've always loved playing patintero since I was a kid. Back in high school, I really enjoyed that period in our PE class where we have patintero tournaments. There were also rules and strategies at play. Teamwork also became fun, especially when we would lock our arms together in front of the first line and simultaneously jump over it upon the blow of the whistle. Aha! All were successfully in the first rectangle.

In college, I also got the chance to play patintero again durng our org's sportsfest. Ooh, intense matches.

Today, I miss playing patintero. When you're already a part of the working professionals, an opportunity to play this game doesn't simply come, which is why I am very thankful that I still got the chance to play this legendary street game back in college as a sports.

It's amazing how patintero games can get serious, so Kai Castillo's comics has some real grounds in turning this game into a big time tournament; it's not just some whimsical idea. I, myself, have experienced these kinds of tournaments back in high school and college.

I believe Kai Castillo has given this game justice in his creation of the comics. Good job! Haha. Will be looking forward to the progress of this one.
