10A Alabama handmade arts & crafts fair: It's so quiet.

by - April 21, 2015

I attended my first craft fair at 10A Alabama last April 18, Saturday, and my first impression was it's so quiet in there. People chitchat with a very soft voice, something I didn't really expect because I used to attend komikon and anime conventions that were, in no way, near quiet. But I guess not being surrounded with loud voices and clashing sounds made me appreciate each table more.

I am a very awkward person who doesn't always have a bag full of confidence; I was a bit scared before going to the event because I did not know what it would be like, but I was surprised to get to ask a bit of questions to some crafters, and I do think that the quiet and calm atmosphere helped with it.

Here are some of my takeaways from the event.

1. Bookmarks by Frances Alvarez (Speculiars)
2. Sticker set by Yas Doctor (Speculiars)

3. Stationery set by Inky Livie

4. Paper crane earrings by Orig Kami

5. Bicycle keychain by Klay Pop Jewelry

6. Twig necklace by Dandy Ona Jewelry

7. Cat kraft notebook by Designer's Crib

8. One Piece wallet by Krafty Pirate

This was my second Saturday off after seven months of having Wednesday and Thursday as my weekend, and I was thankful to have spent it with friends and exploring something I love. And here's a guardian nyaw nyaw that made my day! Teehee. :)
